Wimmera Southern Mallee Drought Report
Funded by the Government and driven by the Association, the Report gave a clear picture of the impact of drought within the region’s agribusiness, farm, retail and manufacturing sectors. It also identified industry needs for future sustainability, as well as opportunities for broader regional growth and investment.
Research for the Report was conducted by Water in Drylands Collaborative Research Program (WIDCORP) and RM Consulting Group.
A number of recommendations in the Report have since been funded by the State Government (see links below), and we continue to work with the State Government to secure ongoing funding.
